Created in 1985, Entraide Bénévole Métro (EBM) is a non-profit community organization located in downtown Montréal, Québec.
EBM provides services, free of charge, to seniors aged 60 and over, experiencing temporary or permanent loss of autonomy and who live in central Downtown, Montréal and part of Westmount, Québec.
Our goal for seniors is to include them in the community, increase their quality of life and help them remain autonomous, while living on their own.
Our History
EBM’s history dates back to 1985 when there were volunteer groups offering community services within CLSC Métro. The restructuring of government financial aid prompted a reorganization within these departments. An application for non-profit status was filed and Entraide Bénévole Métro was founded.
Our Mission
EBM is committed to providing physical and emotional support to seniors 65+ with temporary or permanent loss of autonomy.
